General Description
2019 Marmelar Red is a rich and elegant Portuguese wine crafted from carefully selected grapes grown in the Vidigueira region. This blend combines traditional varietals with modern winemaking techniques, resulting in a full-bodied red wine with a deep ruby color. On the nose, it offers an enticing bouquet of ripe red fruits, blackberries, and plums, complemented by subtle hints of spice, vanilla, and toasted oak from barrel aging. The palate is well-structured, with silky tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a long, smooth finish with lingering notes of dark chocolate and spice. Perfect for pairing with red meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses, the 2019 Marmelar Red embodies the sophistication and richness of Vidigueira's winemaking heritage.
